Abstract

【課題】オフガス水素の燃焼に用いられる触媒の消耗を極力抑える燃料電池システムを提供すること。 【解決手段】燃料電池システム1は、燃料電池11からのオフガス水素を燃焼する第1触媒12と、燃料電池11からのオフガス水素を燃焼する第2触媒13と、燃料電池11と第1触媒12とを接続し、燃料電池11の定格運転時に、燃料電池11からのオフガスが流通する第1オフガス水素排気ラインL1、L2と、燃料電池11と第2触媒13とを接続し、定格運転時よりもオフガス水素の量が増加する非定格運転時に、燃料電池11からのオフガスが流通する第2オフガス水素排気ラインL1、L3と、第1触媒12と第2触媒13とを接続し、第1触媒12を通過したオフガスを第2触媒13に流通させる第1連通排気ラインL4と、一端部が第2触媒13に接続され、第2触媒13を通過したオフガスが流通する第2連通排気ラインL5と、を備える。 【選択図】図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system that minimizes consumption of catalysts used in burning off-gas hydrogen.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 comprises: a first catalyst 12 that burns off-gas hydrogen from a fuel cell 11; a second catalyst 13 that burns off-gas hydrogen from the fuel cell 11; first off-gas hydrogen exhaust lines L1 and L2 that connect the fuel cell 11 and the first catalyst 12 and that allow passage of off-gas from the fuel cell 11 therethrough when the fuel cell 11 is in rated operation; second off-gas hydrogen exhaust lines L1 and L3 that connect the fuel cell 11 and the second catalyst 13 and that allow passage of off-gas from the fuel cell 11 therethrough when the fuel cell 11 is in non-rated operation in which there is an increase in the amount of off-gas hydrogen compared to the rated operation; a first communicating exhaust line L4 that connects the first catalyst 12 and the second catalyst 13 and that passes off-gas, which has passed through the first catalyst 12, into the second catalyst 13; and a second communicating exhaust line L5 that is connected at an end to the second catalyst 13 and that passes off-gas, which has passed through the second catalyst 13, therethrough.
